Our Background

Why We Built This Platform

There was a clear gap between the kind of information professionals in Romania needed and what was actually available. Most content on earning additional income was either generic, optimistic without substance, or simply not relevant to the Romanian regulatory and economic context.

Where This Started

A recurring conversation

The platform grew from a simple observation: many employed professionals in Romania were asking the same questions about additional income and getting either vague encouragement or impractical answers.

They wanted to know whether their specific skills could generate side income. They wanted to understand what the tax picture actually looked like under a PFA. They wanted someone to be honest about the time cost and realistic return before they invested months of evenings into something that might not work for them.

None of this required business consulting. It required clear, structured educational content built around the Romanian context. That is what this platform attempts to provide.

Our Approach

What principles guide the content we create?

These are not marketing statements. They reflect decisions made about what kind of platform this should be.

Specificity Over Generality

Content should be specific enough to be useful. A session on freelance economics in Romania uses Romanian tax figures. A session on pricing uses RON amounts. Vague frameworks help no one.

No Promises About Outcomes

Education cannot guarantee results. The sessions cover information and frameworks. What each person does with that depends on factors entirely outside our control — and we say so clearly.

Both Sides of the Picture

Side income has real costs — time, energy, administrative complexity, inconsistency. Sessions present both the potential and the realistic drawbacks so attendees can make informed decisions.

Respect for People's Time

Attendees are employed. Their evenings are limited. Sessions are structured to deliver the relevant information efficiently, without padding, repetition, or content designed to create dependency.

Boundaries We Set

What this platform deliberately is not

These boundaries exist to protect the usefulness of the platform and the trust of the people who attend.

Sovogu Suziza is not a business incubator, a coaching service, or a consulting firm. There is no one-on-one advice, no personalised business plans, and no follow-up service offering. Attendees receive educational content and apply it independently.

It is not a community focused on motivation or accountability. There are no group challenges, no leaderboards, no pressure to report progress. People attend, learn, and decide for themselves what to do next.

It is not a passive income course. None of the content suggests that meaningful additional income can be generated without ongoing effort. That framing is misleading and the platform avoids it entirely.

Background

Who puts the sessions together?

The sessions are developed by people who have worked in the Romanian professional environment and have direct experience with the questions the content addresses.

The content is not assembled from international templates and translated. It is developed with the Romanian professional context as the starting point — fiscal structures, market rates, typical employment terms, and the specific tensions that arise when someone employed in Romania considers adding a side service.

Sessions are reviewed before each delivery to ensure the information reflects current conditions. Tax thresholds and contribution rates in Romania change, and content that was accurate eighteen months ago may no longer be. Accuracy matters more than evergreen simplicity.

The platform is based in Bucharest. Contact information is publicly available on the contact page. Questions about session content can be directed to the email address listed there.
